The First Phone Call from Heaven

The First Phone Call from Heaven

The First Phone Call from Heaven (Mitch Albom, 2013)

How I stumbled upon it: B+N bargain bin on a rainy Sunday. (Y’all they seriously have some STEALS)!

What it's about: In Coldwater, Michigan, residents are stunned when members of the community start receiving phone calls from their loved ones...who are no longer living. What starts with one phone call turns into a massive media phenomenon (miracles really sell papers) and a crisis of faith for Sully, who has recently returned to his hometown after being (dishonorably) discharged from the military. In Mitch Albom fashion, the book is a tear-jerker that you won’t be able to put down.

What I thought: I love Mitch Albom’s books. They are always full of wit + wisdom + they are always so damn readable.
