Luckiest Girl Alive (Jessica Knoll, 2015)

How I stumbled upon it: Barnes + Noble (+ Reese Witherspoon’s book club Instagram)

What it's about: On the outside Ani is all the things you’d want to be: pretty, fashionable, + working a glamorous job in NYC.  But she’s got a dark past + secrets that are threatening to come to light with a new documentary that will allow her to set the record straight on her tragic high school years.

What I thought: You will fly through this book.  It’s engaging and there are lots of plot twists that will keep you on your toes. I thought Ani was a little hard to relate to as a protagonist, but once I got into the story, I couldn’t put it down until I found out what happened in her past that made her so complex.  +1 if you’re looking for a book to bring to the beach or on a long flight.

You can get it here.
