The Woman in Cabin 10 (Ruth Ware, 2016)

How I stumbled upon it: Reese Witherspoon’s book club!

What it's about: Lo is a journalist who works for a travel magazine who is asked last-minute to write an article about a small luxury cruise (free trip included). Once she’s onboard the ship, she is convinced that she hears a woman being thrown overboard, but none of the crew or other passengers will acknowledge it. It has lots of plot twists and is definitely in the same fast-pace as “Girl on the Train.”

What I thought: Well I took this one on a cruise because I thought they meant cabin in the woods, not cabin on a boat so it’s safe to say I didn’t sleep much of the trip! I flew through this one last summer and it’s a great summer thriller to add to your list. I would say that the build up for me was better than the actual ending, but I’m starting to realize that there is rarely an ending that I am thrilled with!

You can get it here.
