How I stumbled upon it: My friend Caroline recommended it for my vacation!

What it's about: Jack and Grace are the perfect couple...or so they seem. But behind closed doors, their marriage is anything but what you expect. It’s a psychological thriller that will have you wondering if the person you are dating will be the same person you marry.

What I thought: Y’all. This book left me SHOOK. I was so paranoid for a full week after finishing this. I brought it on vacation to Bermuda and every time Max asked a question, I would say, “Shh...one more chapter.” I would recommend *not* reading right after a book like The Last Mrs. Parrish because you are definitely going to hit your capacity for emotional anguish quite quickly.
